Every year, throughout February, people gather in the Canary Islands, to witness a piece of Rio, as the Carnival comes to town.
Here in Lanzarote is no exception with a parade that has, over the years been known to last for over four hours, with dazzling dancing displays and ingeniously designed floats from the villages and companies of the island.
